Athena® Cuts Rooting Compound (14 oz.)

Athena Cuts Water-Based Rooting Gel, 14 oz

Athena Cuts is a premium water-based rooting gel for cloning from stem and leaf cuttings, in a 14-ounce size for high-volume cloning operations. Its blend of plant hormones, nutrients, and vitamins, with indole-3-butyric acid at the core, coats and seals the cut tissue to drive rapid, abundant root cell development.

Why growers choose Athena Cuts

• Rapid root generation: an essential plant hormone formula stimulates quick rooting and vigorous early growth.
• Seals as it stimulates: the gel coats the cut stem, protecting tissue while nutrients and hormones absorb.
• Works on everything: suitable for woody and herbaceous cuttings, flowers, ornamentals, vegetables, and fruit trees.
• Easy for any skill level: a simple dip-and-plant process for novice and experienced cloners alike.
• Bulk-friendly size: 14 oz keeps up with frequent cloning rounds.

How to use

1. Squeeze a small amount of gel into a separate container.
2. Take 2–8 inch cuttings from healthy mother plants, trimming at a 45-degree angle.
3. Dip the cut end into the gel to the desired depth.
4. Place the cutting into your cloning system or rooting medium.

Depending on variety, roots can appear within days to weeks. Transplant once cuttings have rooted.

Best practices

• Take cuttings only from new growth on healthy mother plants.
• Never dip cuttings directly into the container.
• Discard used gel; do not reuse or return it to the bottle.
