‘Rose Quartz’ Peanut Cactus is a hybrid between Chamaecereus and Lobvia in the Cactaceae family, and they are native to the western slopes of Argentina.

It has long, bright green stems covered with short spines. Flowering occurs in late spring and early summer, and bright red funnel-shaped flowers that are 1.57-1.96 inches (4-5cm) in diameter are grown.

These cacti are super easy to grow, so they are great for beginners!

Care Tips

Light: It prefers a very well-lit environment.

Water: It’s good to have a drying period between watering them, but it should be deeply watered when you do water them.

Soil: It is best to choose a mixture of sandy soil and granular medium.

Potting: It is only required for them to be repotted once every couple of years. When repotting, use a planter with a diameter that’s a couple inches larger, so the plants have enough space to keep growing.

Temperature: They do best in temperatures over 70°F (21.1°C).

Humidity: This cactus does well in low humidity.

    Care Instructions

Please visit our Succulent Care info page for more details.

To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.

Make sure to leave drought periods between waterings to prevent the plant from water-logging.

    Weather Conditions

    • When ordering, be mindful that living succulents can be damaged by the cold weather.
    • If you live in an area that is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, please add a shipping warmer to your order or consider purchasing plant until the weather is more suitable.

    ★★★★★

This shop has great customer service. Although they mainly sell pots they also have a few plants to sell. I bought one of these plants and it shipped very fast. The plant I received is beautiful but it was the wrong plant. I contacted the shop right away. I told them I will keep the plant but I’d still want to buy the one I wanted. The plant I wanted also cost less so I offered to pay the difference too. The shop apologized for the mistake and said they will send the right plant right away and to keep the plant i already received. I thought that was awesome, thoughtful and very professional and that goes a long way. Thank you so much and I really appreciate that.

Simply a beautiful and artistic Peety pot. Will be the pot for an Adenia metamorpha and the two will definitely display awesome artistry.
