Crassula ovata 'Ogre's Ears' has fleshy green leaves with rolled or tubular shapes and cupped ends. Its branching stems can become woody, adding to the miniature-tree look as it matures.
- 👂 Unusual leaves: Rolled foliage and flared tips give it its familiar name.
- 🌿 Jade structure: Branching stems develop a substantial, shrub-like form.
- 💧 Water storage: Thick leaves help the plant cope with dry intervals.
Choose Ogre's Ears for a bright pot where its leaf shapes can be viewed up close.
Care Tips
Light: Provide bright light and introduce direct sun gradually. Offer afternoon shade in intense summer heat.
Water: Water thoroughly when the soil has dried, then let excess water drain. Reduce watering during cool weather or slow growth.
Soil: Use a gritty, fast-draining succulent mix in a pot with drainage holes.
Temperature: Protect from frost and freezing weather; bring containers under cover before cold conditions arrive.
Safety: Keep out of reach of children and pets and do not eat the leaves.

Care Instructions
Please visit our Succulent Care info page for more details.
To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.
Allow the soil to dry to the level recommended in the Care Tips above before watering again. Always drain excess water.
Weather Conditions
- When ordering, be mindful that living succulents can freeze. If you live in an area that is below 40°F, please consider purchasing plant until the weather is more suitable.
