Care Tips
Light: Provide strong light and some direct sun. Acclimate gradually outdoors; insufficient light can reduce flowering.
Water: Let the soil dry between thorough waterings and drain well. Adjust to growth and conditions; never leave roots standing in water.
Soil: Use a freely draining mix, such as cactus compost with added perlite or pumice.
Potting: Choose a drainage-hole container; repot when it outgrows its pot.
Temperature: Keep warm and bring indoors before frost. Protect from cold drafts.
Humidity: Ordinary household humidity is suitable; provide airflow.
Safety: Sharp thorns can injure. Milky sap is poisonous if swallowed and can seriously irritate eyes and skin. Wear gloves and eye protection when pruning; keep away from children and pets.

Care Instructions

To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.
Make sure to leave drought periods between waterings to prevent the plant from water-logging.
