Description: This rare plant is a tropical epiphyte with large green leaves that have unusual red and dark green highlights. In summer, red flower spikes emerge with pink, begonia-like flowers. As the plant matures, it forms a caudex at the base. Native to Ecuador and Peru, it prefers to be grown in bright light, but not direct sun. Keep the soil media moist for best results.
