This climbing plant support is designed to be used INDOORS.
This plant support grows with your plants. Just attach an extension once your plant grows. This is one of our favorite ways to support climbing plants. Can be extended up to 5 feet tall!
These wood trellises are inspired by the Zamioculcas zamiifolia, ZZ leaf. Each wooden trellis for climbing plants is one of a kind with a unique grain structure that is sure to be a statement piece at your home.
Common climbing plants that need support are aroids, monsteras, philodendrons as well as common vining plants like pothos.

Why cedar wood?
Cedar is known to be naturally rot resistant. They are the go to material for outdoor home construction projects. We are bringing cedar to your plant supports.
Learn more about planks vs pole through our blogpost here. These work great for any climbing plants that typically use moss poles like Philodendron Melanochrysum, Monsteras, Anthuriums or Pothos.
ABOUT THE CEDAR
Every Zella is cut from real aromatic cedar, so no two are identical. Expect lighter and darker grain, white-to-pink tones, and the occasional knot. These aren't flaws — they're how cedar looks when it hasn't been painted over.
One side is sanded smooth. The other is left rough by design: aerial roots grip the unsanded face the way they'd grip bark in the wild. Most customers face the smooth side out and let the plant climb the rough side.
If you want a uniform, furniture-grade finish on both faces, this isn't that product — and we'd rather tell you now.
Why does my trellis have light or pink spots? That's cedar. Aromatic cedar runs from pale cream to pink to deep red, often within the same board. It's the same variation that gives the wood its scent. It won't fade or spread.
Is the rough side a defect? Did I get B-Stock by mistake? No — every Zella is sanded on one side and left rough on the other, B-Stock or not. B-Stock refers to something different: a specific mark, chip, or cosmetic irregularity beyond normal grain variation. B-Stock items are only ever sold through the B-Stock collection at a reduced price and are labeled as such. If you bought at full price, you received a first-quality item.

This shop has great customer service. Although they mainly sell pots they also have a few plants to sell. I bought one of these plants and it shipped very fast. The plant I received is beautiful but it was the wrong plant. I contacted the shop right away. I told them I will keep the plant but I’d still want to buy the one I wanted. The plant I wanted also cost less so I offered to pay the difference too. The shop apologized for the mistake and said they will send the right plant right away and to keep the plant i already received. I thought that was awesome, thoughtful and very professional and that goes a long way. Thank you so much and I really appreciate that.
