The system is designed to flow 17 gallons per hour of pure RO water at a 2:1 ratio. It delivers high flow rates and water savings never before seen in a package so affordable and durable. The system uses membrane technology and is equipped with a steel pressure gauge.
A manual flush valve allows you to clean the membrane by purging pollutants that could otherwise build up in the system. Flushing also adds considerable life to the membrane.
Listed performance: With a BP-1530 booster pump and input feed water pressure of 80psi, the EX400 is listed to produce up to 450 gallons per day. This is a listed performance condition, not a recommended booster pump operating setpoint. Follow the complete manufacturer owner manual for operating instructions.

Optional accessories for EX Series RO Systems
KDF85 Carbon Filter Upgrade: The KDF85/Catalytic Carbon Filter provides chlorine and chloramine reduction. It is a must for well water to reduce iron, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals and bacteria. Its bacteriostatic qualities do not allow microbes to breed in the filter.
- BP-1530 Booster Pump: Listed capability to raise input feed water pressure from zero to 80psi and pump water from a rain barrel through the system. This listed capability is not a recommended operating setpoint; follow the complete manufacturer owner manual for operating instructions.
- Float Valve (VA-F-1438): Allows unattended operation.
