Description

SNS 244C Concentrated Natural Fungicide is made with 100% pure thyme, clove and rosemary botanical extracts. The botanicals are all food-grade GRAS (generally recognized as safe) materials.

How it works

Airborne pathogenic, or disease-causing, fungi enter the plant by making a hole in its skin (epidermis) or growing through its breathing holes (stomata). They then either poison and kill plant cells before absorbing food from them or steal nutrients from living cells. Some fungi live in the soil and enter the roots, where they can block or kill water-conducting cells, causing the plant to wilt. In many cases, the plant is seriously damaged or may die. These pathogenic fungi can threaten crops.

As a topical spray, SNS 244C Natural Fungicide kills fungus through a biochemical interaction with the spores. Some components are also absorbed systemically by the plant, suppressing the fungal spores' life cycle and nurturing plant cells to increase the plant's ability to fight disease.

The product has been tested in the lab on delicate new growth, clones, tomatoes, strawberries, lettuce, spinach, roses, potatoes, citrus, apples and other plants.

Uses

SNS 244C Natural Fungicide can be used on a wide variety of plants, vegetables and trees. It can be sprayed on fruits, vegetables and plants, including beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, cherries, chives, corn, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, parsley, fuchsia, roses, flowers, houseplants, trees and more.

Caution: Do not spray any buds on the plant, as doing so could burn the sprayed buds.

Mixing directions

Mix 16 oz. (473 ml) of SNS 244C with 1 gallon (3.79 L) of water. Mix well until the solution has a milky tint with some foam on top. The mixed solution may be stored or used immediately.

Directions for use

• Test spray for phytotoxicity on a small area of the plant before use.
• Water the infected plant well before spraying SNS 244C.
• Do not spray in direct sunlight or under grow lamps.
• Shake well and adjust the spray nozzle setting. Spray directly onto fungus and infected areas until thoroughly covered.
• Spray as needed when fungus is seen. The product is most effective when used on a 7-14 day schedule.
• Because the product is made with natural ingredients, shake the bottle before use and occasionally during use.
• Thoroughly wash all contacted food areas and food materials with soap and water.
• Do not spray near heat or an open flame.
• As with any natural oil-based product, use under direct sunlight or grow lamps could damage the plant.

Ingredients

• Active ingredients: Thyme oil 1.2%; clove oil 0.20%; rosemary oil 0.05%.
• Other ingredients: 98.55%. Water, cod liver oil, polyglyceryl oleate and Quillaja saponaria.
