Blue Star 100 Seeds

Blue Star 100 is a Burley which grows to a height of 6' to the crows foot, or 7-8 with the flower head. The plant is columnar in shape with up turned leaves and a growth pattern similar to TN 90. The upright columnar plant form gives it good wind resistance and helps shed water easily in heavy rains. Plants produce an average of 20 to 23 leaves ranging from 24 to 30 inches in length and 15 to 16 inches in width, with good weight. Maturity is reached at approximately 77 days after transplant when 50% of the plants have at least 1 open flower. The leaves began ripening well before full maturity turning a bright lemon yellow in color and may be primed and strung as they ripen. Plants can be topped at approximately 70 days after transplant and be cut and harvested whole about 2 weeks later or when 50% or more of the leaf has yellowed up the plant. Blue Star 100 has excellent curability when primed, or when cut and hung whole to cure and dry.
