Instructions
- Fill the bag with contents.
- Insert the bag into a NatureVac sealer or compatible machine, making sure the bag's opening lines up with the vacuum channel. Vacuum action will not occur if the opening is not completely inside the channel.
- Press START or AUTO to begin. When the desired amount of air has been removed, press SEAL to stop vacuuming and begin sealing. Alternatively, wait for all air to be removed; the machine will then begin sealing automatically.
Heating and cooking
- Stored foods can be reheated to the boiling point in the bag or placed directly in the microwave after piercing the bag.
- Place a small slit in the bag before heating cooked foods and before defrosting food in the microwave.
- Monitor the bag during stovetop cooking. Keep at least one inch of water surrounding it so that it does not directly contact the bottom or sides of the pot.
