The entire length of the tape releases water slowly and evenly, while the Blumat sensor starts and stops the flow based on the moisture in the soil.
Designed for gravity-fed Blumat irrigation systems. Use an elevated reservoir. Do not connect this white porous tape to a 7.25 PSI or 15 PSI pressure reducer.
Formerly described as BluSoak 2.0 raised-bed kits. No timer, electricity, or programming is required.
Pressure & Water Source Requirements ＋
Gravity BluSoak is intended for gravity-fed systems. The 7.25 PSI and 15 PSI pressure reducers are not compatible; excessive pressure can damage the tape.
- Gravity reservoir: Position the bottom of the reservoir approximately 3½ feet or more above the soil surface to provide adequate pressure.
The reservoir, pump, hose connection, pressure reducer, and main supply line are not included .

Sensor Type ＋

- 5" + 9" Dual Sensor — Uses two sensing depths to control the bed together.
Calibration Type ＋
- Standard — Ships with the standard Blumat adjustment top for you to calibrate after installation.
- Preset — Pre-calibrated at our Colorado warehouse and includes a locking adjustment cap, 3mm union, and adjustment key.

What You'll Also Need ＋
This kit covers the irrigation components inside the bed. To complete the system, choose:
- 8mm supply line running from the water source to the Blumat sensor
- A gravity reservoir with an 8mm bulkhead connection
How It Works ＋
The Blumat sensor continuously responds to soil moisture. As the bed dries, the sensor opens and allows water to move through the Gravity BluSoak tape. When the target moisture level is restored, the sensor closes automatically.
Because Gravity BluSoak is porous along its entire length, it distributes water slowly across the bed instead of releasing it from individual emitter points.

Which water source should I use?
Use an elevated gravity reservoir. Do not pair Gravity BluSoak with a 7.25 PSI or 15 PSI reducer; the white porous tape can be damaged by excessive pressure.
What is sold separately?
The water source and main supply line are sold separately. High-pressure installations also require a compatible pressure reducer.
Is this the same tape as BluSoak 2.0?
Yes. BluSoak 2.0 is now Gravity BluSoak. The new name clarifies which water setup to use.
